    I am running Windows 7 Beta and Vista in a dual boot configuration right now on a hard drive that I purchased for this purpose only. Remember that Windows 7 is in Beta form right now. Don't risk losing all of your important files by installing Wndows 7 on your primary hard drive.

    Has anyone else tried Opera 9.63 browser? I found that Internet Explorer 8 to be quite slow when loading web pages. Opera seems to be very fast and stable for me. First impressions are very favourable.

    Windows 7 How to Move the Show Desktop Button Back to the Left Side?

    If you look at the right side of the task bar, you will notice a vertical grey rectangle (just to the right of the time shown on the task bar). Put your mouse pointer over it and wait a few seconds or click that rectangle and the desktop will appear.

    Same problem here. I have Nvidia GeForce 8500GT and a Samsung 24" monitor. In Vista, the maximum resolution can be set to 1920 x 1200. Using Windows 7 Beta the resolution setting always reverts to 1600 x 1200.:(

    I have a Seagate 500 GB 7200 RPM hard drive and the performance index show it as 3.0 as well. In Vista it is 5.9.
