- Issue Known issue Windows devices attempting to install this update, might face issues during the installation process. The installation might fail with an error code 0x800f0982. This issue is more likely to affect devices that do not have the English (United States) language pack. We have also received reports that devices are failing to install this update with the error code 0x80004005. This error can occur even if the English (United States) language pack is installed Workaround: This issue is addressed in KB5039705 .
