HOWTO: Remove and Replace Nexus 7 Battery

Is the Nexus 7 so internally complex that you can't change the battery? Perhaps not. Check out this video, as we rip a broken one right open. For the record, although our sites emphasize Windows products, Android products are great as well. Too bad this one took a turn for the worse. We had to put it down before it reanimated. Be warned: Nobody ever really reads warranties anymore, so who knows if this will destroy yours. Chances are it will, however! Still reading?

Google provides extended support for broken tablet issues: "While Google doesn't currently provide repair services, Asus does offer an out of warranty repair option. To inquire about an out of warranty repair, please contact Asus directly using the support options at: http://support.asus.com/Hotlines.aspx?SLanguage=en
Or by phone at: 877 339 2787" However, if all else fails, you may want to contact Google directly.
