I have downloaded win 8 pro and did a clean install on a vmware 8.
I have a license for win 7 ultimate. Is it possible to activate windows 8 without first installing windows 7 on the vm. It seems that the win 8 is only an upgrade.

But can I resolve the problem due to the clipboard as you mention. Before I didn't had the problem. Kind regards Al

As I mentioned in the thread I did a refresh.
I have saw that some people had the same problem when they delete a
file but it is not the case for me.
I have the following strange problem. When I cut and paste a large file (in win 7 + sp1 ultimate 64 bit)
the file is not removed from the original place. Even if I do a refresh. But after a while (sometimes 1 sometimes
10 minutes the file is removed from the original place.

It seems that it is not possible in IE9 to set the menu bar above the address/search bar as it was possible in IE8/7. I have tried with the registry trick and with the policy editor. But nothing happens. Any other way to do this?

I was missing a shortcut to IE on my VM (xp mode) so I created a shortcut using the wizard on my virtual machine. The name was IEplorer.exe. I renamed it in windows 7 to find it the easy way to internet explorer. But I have the following issue when I type in 'search programs and files' box...
