Windows 7 RC1 Freezes and stops responding

Nor did I  Hello folks I have the same Not Responding problem on my x32 system. When 7000 came out I used it and loved it and had no problems like this. When the RC1 came out I did a Clean install and this Not Responding issue started. I have since done another Clean install using 7127...

Windows 7 [7127] issue with installing xpi extensions for Firefox

The xpi's do not install. They do not run. They freeze the mini window that opens for Add-ons. I have to use Task Manager to close it. Mouse clicking on the Add-on window just chimes "ding". Yep :( FF3.0.10 not beta. Thanks for trying oneextraid :)

Windows 7 [7127] issue with installing xpi extensions for Firefox

Until 7127 I had no problem with installing xpi's either. Now I have a problem. I can recall seeing that others suffered with this and that the solution was a tweak somewhere or other. Needless to say I cannot find the solution now. Clean install? definitely Yes. Windows x86. Latest FF.

Windows XP Anyone still using XP? And why

I think us Dads/Granddads have to move with the times. I am one of XP's biggest oldest fans. I have it on all my PCs and the laptop. However, I dual boot with Seven on my main PC. I have been using Seven since 7000 and now don't like using XP, ha ha. Tell yer Dad to try it. Embrace the change...

Windows XP Anyone still using XP? And why

My laptop has 512 RAM. The laptop is not worth spending money on it to increase the memory to a gig or two. Therefore, on my laptop, I still have to use XP Pro :(

Windows 7 How do i disable remember last opened location?

You're not the only one this happens to, shatterstar. It's bugging me too. I am trying to think were it happens. What programs am I using when it crops up. I know, for one example, it happens in my mp3 tag program (Tag n'Rename) And you're right it is a behaviour peculiar to Seven. I dual boot...

Sorry djwayne, that is your view. Other folk have other views and the opinions of other folk are just as valid as yours. I think Classic is great. I urge you to accept another person's opinion. But no. You won't, will you? ;)
