i use Avast for virus checking. For spyware, I use my eyes and don't go running stupid stuff that I don't know about.

sure it works without but i map the buttons to key strokes for a game, EQ2. may not be needed for normal operation but I haven't found too many uses for about 4 buttons on my cordless trackman.

i use setpoint without problems. downloaded the vista version, installed and set up fine. then in w7 it updated it again. my custom keys work the same as always. new version is 4.70.213
