I use WOT. If it generates an alert it is up to you as to whether you visit the site or not. The blocking function is your job. If WOT gives a red alert then you dont enter the site.

PAID:Kaspersky or ESET. FREE:Avast or Avira.

Why does AVG have such low detection rates.?.At av test.org and av comparitives it shows that AVG has just got worse over the years and it seems to be awfully bloated. My recommendation would be avast as it offers far more protection and is far lighter.:p

Personally as far as free options go,i would choose mse or avast.Avira is very good also.:cool:

If i could just add a little info on this.i found installing avast FIRST was beneficial as avast was actually sandboxing online armor and preventing it from starting.Dont know if this is related to your problem. Regards.:p

hello ralph. Ive recently started using ubuntu myself.im currently running it in a virtual machine within windows 7. I really like the ubuntu but im finding it a bit confusing at the moment.ive been so used to using windows. Any suggestions on the use of ubuntu at all.
