why don't you click 'properties' when you right click? usually you can just right click and 'un pin from taskbar' but obviously not in your case.. are you sure your clicking right? like when you click a folder and it says 'move here' 'copy here' ect.. when you move the arrow whilst right...

did you flick the switch and click the connection thing on the right of your taskbar? that's all you have to do and wireless shall work..

When i close my laptop and leave for a bit, come back, open it, i expect it to come on and ask for a log in straight away... but it comes up with a black background with a blue rectangle in the centre which has white writing on it, then it starts up as if i told it to shut down not stand by...

wireless what? internet? switch the flick that says on and off to on, and then click the internet connection icon on your taskbar and search for the wireless router, type in the password if password enabled and your good to go.

I don't get what readyboost does, i tried it on my old 1gb USB and all it did was take up loads of space and i couldn't delete it... I'm not sure if I should try it on my 4gb or not, what does it do?

I started installation, it went to "extracting files" and then it quits and windows comes up saying "windows installer has stopped working"... hm, i downloaded it again, same problem...

ok, perhaps it could have been a falty download, you and another person have said that their opera works on win7, so yeah, falty download, i'm downloading again. thanks!
