Well i've done a fresh x86 install and have the same fucking issues. Im hopping mad!:mad::mad::mad: These issues should be resolved by now it release is in less than a month. I ain't payin for this substandard shite. I've had enough! Im going open source,fuck Microslave,they've got billions...

Well in my own and my friends experience it's THAT way round. It could be any number of variables,i give you that,everyone's machine's different. I have an old machine Win7's given it a new lease of life.

The Pentium D IS a dual core CPU.:rolleyes:

Give it at least 6 months,and perhaps it is. It seems to be as unstable as previous OS's they've released in early stages. Maybe it's the kernel,my knowledge doesn't run that deep,but i've heard others saying that very thing.

I spoke too soon!:mad: Personally i think Microslave RTM'd this OS far too soon. For the average comp,it's reasonably stable,but for custom built machines,and machines with custom hardware fitted in,it's not as stable in my opinion as it could be. For a corporation as big as M$ these issues...

Actually a bit of both!;) I performed my 1st Win 7 chk disk,it seems to of sorted the problem out,haven't had 100% CPU since. There were a couple of EA files that were sorted,perhaps the root cause of the problem. Thanx for everyones input.:) Checking the CPU usage with taskmanager was the 1st...

Im getting 100% CPU usage even when my comp's idling. Anyone know what the problem might be,or how i can rectify it? It's not happening all the time,but very frequently. Im using a Pentium D Dual core 2 x 2.8GHz on an x64 Windows 7 Ultimate.

I saw on one web page that a copy of Windows 7 x64 Ultimate will be £159.00 :eek:

Maybe it's the fact i have a 64 bit system and have a custom graphics card,which makes Microsoft OS's a little unstable. My machine hadn't crashed all weekend,then i put a DS9 DVD thru Media player,it crashed 5 mins later.:(

When i looked at this just now,the icons were all wrong. I had to activate the relevant apps,and change them back to what they should be. Has anyone else experienced this? My machine's still crashing frequently too.

My sound card driver could do with an update. My sound's sounding distorted almost like it's about to crash. I spoke to someone at Demonoid with the same build as me,who has the same problem.
