    lololololol Windows Explorer So was that safe mode? OR safe mode with command prompt which only loads the dos prompt? I understand what you went through. Sounds like explorer just got snagged on the file and couldn't get off of it. As for the green bar, sounds like some sort of indexing...

    Windows Vista space req'd for vista

    Right now I have XP x64 on it's on partition of about 10gb. That's all that I've needed to use. I want to do the same with the 64bit vista (maybe even vista ultimate). How much would it require if it had it's own partition on my drive? 10gb? 15gb? More? Also, what is the latest version of vista...
