Hi John3347, don't mean to butt in with a change of subject...but I thought since u mentioned security patches I'd ask.....I ve noticed many updates on the "update History" saying "...W7 update for Win7 RC..." etc...just wondering...i thought after the RTM release these would stop?

Definition Updates Have u guys noticed, after the version update, if the Virus definitions get updated? Mine shows the last two definition updates as "failed"....it installed the last one I got today....just trying to see if its anything in my settings etc? Many thanks for the assistance

I installed Win7 on a NR series machine and had some issues too.....the way i understood it...u need to install all the main motherboard drivers and shared Library etc before installing the Notebook utilities.... I found that installing the utilities without the other drivers being installed...

Truning off After updates Have u folks run into MSE turning itself off after updates? I have noticed it a couple of times and the action center warning comes up.....i m sure there s a tweak in there somewhere to stop it...just can't seem to find it.. Many thanks for any assistance
