I formatted it correctly,a window came up saying if you leave windows 8.1 you can't back,do you want to continue.The AU was 9.3 GB but what I downloaded was only 3.4 so couldn't the August 2nd AU.

I didn't format it earlier,I have now and trying it again.It's a 16GB capacity by Nexxtech.

It has 16gb capacity,I forgot to format it,didn't realize that as I have never done this before,just did that now

I think I will just wait for MS and hope that works,i tried installing from a USB flash drive but it still froze at 85%.

I have a gateway DX-4860 built in 2011.

I have the very first version that came out July 29 of last version 10240

I see that people have freezing problems after installing but but the update freezes at 84% and not finished installng

Haven't received the update to my computer,have tried the media creation tool and the the WSindows 10 upgrade assistant,it gets to 84-85% and quits.
