I have problems removing a time restricted program (Sony Vegas) using add remove programs on Vista Home Premium. When I try to remove it I am told that I have to contact my administrator ( ME) as I dont have permission to remove it. There is no uninstall option on the program. Can anyone help?

Well it is price competitive with other professional edit programs, I work in the video business and need the facilities it provides. From my point of view all the consumer programs have compromises( number of video tracks/sound tracks etc) so I need the real thing.

Yes it is 32bit , so problem is solved...well memory problem but not necessarily the freeze problem. I will wait for the next freeze......whatever happened to global warming?:D

Yes graphics card is geforce 8800 gts 320mb....I was told that the 320mb is added to the total memory so it only shows 3gb but still uses it all. As the pc is so new I am not going to fiddle too much with it and will wait for the Vista SP1 whenever that may be available and see if that has any...

The PC isnt in a fridge! Its a quad core Intel machine, about 3 months old with a good graphics card (something GTS) 4 gb memory, two hard drives 250 gb and 750gb. Does anyone else have problems with Vista freezing? I cant move the cursor and ctl alt delete doesnt get me out of the problem, I have to switch off.

Possible reason I have a Mesh PC(UK) with 4GB as standard but it only shows 3 available. I have been told that Vista can only see a maximum of 4GB so if you have a large memory graphics card, that takes you over the top limit, so hence the problem. My Vista is Home Premium 32 bit
