I have had my Iphone plugged into my system with W7 7000 installed from day one without any problems. But over the last few weeks each time I plug it in, to synch or charge it, it always reinstalls the drivers. Has anyone got any ideas why?
I have the official x64 version 7000 installed on my main system and so far it has been very stable. Apart from a network problem (see else where in this forum) I have been very satisfied with this release. I downloaded the 7057 from the newsgroups today. Now is this a legit release from MS and...
On my network I have a HDX 1000 networked media tank. The NMT is set to go to sleep if there is no activity after 10 minutes. Now if I have an open window connected to the NMT on my PC when the NMT goes to sleep I get a BSoD instantly. Is anyone else having similar problems? This does not happen...
You are not the only one with this problem. My Q6600 is only showing 2 cores running. I have been all through the system and I can't get it recognise the other two cores. In Device manager the 4 cores are shown under processors but in msconfig it only shows 2 cores.
Yes it's set to view each CPU. I am almost sure that when I first installed W7 and I was mooching around the sytem that all 4 cores where visable and working in Task Manager and it was only the other night that I noticed that 2 of the cores had gone.
It's a brand new motherboard. A Gigabyte S-Series GA-EP45-DS3R/DS3 and it does support quad core CPU's.Checked on the web site. IntelCoreâ„¢ 2 Quad Q6600 2.40HGz 8MB Kentsfield 65nm G0 95W 1066 F5 As I mentioned in my first post "All 4 showed up under Vista".
I have searched through this forum without much luck on this subject. I have a Intel quad core Q6600 CPU but only 2 of the cores are showing up in the Task Manager but if I check the device manager all 4 are showing there. Does anyone know if Windows 7 is using all 4 cores and just not showing 2...
Am I the only one who seems to have no serious problems after a clean install of W7 7000 x64? The only problem I have had so far was uninstalling the latest WinZip. My system is running aswell now as it was under Ultimate Vista, which I paid for. I am running all the same hardware and software...
Display I am only running a Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS but with a Dell 2405FPW monitor through DVI and I can get 1920 x 1200 @ 60hz without any problems though I don't play games on my system.
