just an update... when windows firewall is on, i get a "dns server not respondig" message when trying to resolve the internet connection on the other pc, (clicking on the red cross)

bump anyone got any ideas? feel a bit naked without a firewall :) could it be that i need to find out my other computers ip address and add it as an exception to windows firewall? thanks

hello patcooke i have removed the default gateway ip, i wasnt sure why it was there, everything seems ok, but when i turn on windows firewall on, ICS doesnt function :/
