Windows XP Windows XP - New lease of life (SP4??)

Going back to the original post - Windows 7 (build 7000) runs great on an Advent 4213 (Specs as follows) Intel Atom N270 [1.6Ghz] 1GB DDRII 533Mhz RAM 160GB Hard Drive etc. etc. The netbook market, as jimbo has said, is bloody huge right now. Considering the market didn't exist just over a...

Windows 7 No audio with m2ts files in WMP

Have you tried using the application G-Spot? Unfortunate choice of name (!!), although it gives you the codecs of both the Audio and Video. Helps me out on numerous occasions (again, !!).;)

Windows Vista Is your computer slower after upgrade to Windows Vista SP1 from Windows Vista?

Not at all, there is a noticable increase - a modest one at that - in performance on my computer since I upgraded to SP1.. Vista HP 64bit, Q9300, 6GB RAM. You didn't mention if you are using a 32 or 64bit build of Vista?

Windows 7 can't boot to disc

I ran the ISO on Daemon tools on Vista and installed to an empty hard drive. It copies all the required files before a restart. After restart, boot into Windows 7 Setup. No burn required:razz:

Linux will stop working in 2038

    Downadup/Conficker worm infection.Are you safe?

I have always been extremely careful regarding internet activity, and thus I have not had a virus. I have been getting Bebo friend request emails which direct you to an infected file - these look exactly the same as normal bebo emails so be careful - check the hyperlink!

Windows Vista Why Windows Vista failed (or so people say)

It should also be noted that there is speculation of a Netbook edition of 7... System spec wise, if you are not willing or cannot upgrade an older system, you could run that version with no issues? (bearing in mind netbooks range from 600mhz to 1.6GB and rarely have more than 1GB RAM)

Windows 7 Classic vs. New Start Menu

I agree. In my opinion, the new menu is fresh and once used to, a lot more useful.

Windows 7 Now comes the big test...

A few positive results on my end: Motocross Madness 2 Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast Half-Life Max Payne Max Payne II MDK MDK II Unreal Tournament (GOTY edition, version 436) Still trying out more, will post! Any result with Midtown Madness 2? I tried 1, didn't...

Windows 7 Windows Experience Index score now only 3?

The low score shouldn't affect your gaming performance. Score wise, I get different results for the x86 and x64 builds. The x64 seems happy to jump about every so often, so i wouldn't worry about it - doesn't seem to affect my performance

Windows 7 What is your Windows 7 performance index score?

Hi Guys! Can't remember the seperate scores, but I am on 5.9 (x86) and 5.2 (x64).

Windows 7 Windows 7 and Audio Production?

Hi Guys Just wondering if anyone has tried Windows 7 for any form of audio production software? I'm currently in the process of setting up Cubase SX 3 on the x86 beta and so far have ran into no problems (which is great, I ran into problems with Vista!). I've tried some VST instruments...

Windows 7 Which version did you install? 32 or 64

Installed both 32-bit and 64-bit - obvious advantage with 64-bit as I have 6GB RAM, performance is great - however compatibility is slightly better on x86 (albeit on older hardware which never really had official x64 support, so i think an upgrade is in order)

    Windows 7 680i Compatibility Issues

I notice you have mentioned your processor is running @ 2.7Ghz... I know there have been issues when overclocking has been active, it could be related to that?:)
