Thanks for the tip - showing less than 9,000k memory usage for WMPNETWK.exe in both the snapshot I posted and current task manager list. Not sure if there was a typo in your suggestion or not but that was as close to what you typed as I could find. Killed WMPNETWK.exe and still sitting at 76%...
