Thanks for the info, but on a home lan with no DHCP server needed(windows since 98SE has been able to assign internal IP's by negotiation without a specific DHCP) how did you solve this problem? Use your routers DHCP? Jon

Well if you can post here soon how you "named" your network so Win7 would recognize it, it would be appreciated, and many of us have the same issue, was it something you had to do with your home network router? Cheers Jon
