Sonds to me as if you need to set the program to run in compatibility mode, if these were dsigned for XP or vista ...get my drift. The other thing is you could always set the program to run as administrator. The UAC in Win 7 gives us all headaches, but its better than being insecure

More than likely the error you are seeing is associated to incompatibility between your fax modem and the receiving fax machine. It would help if you can tell us more about the fax/modem you are using to be able to better help you.
