Thanks alot. What RAM do you recommend? Does it matter the name brand for it to maybe last longer. I haven't even had this computer a year and just had to replace the Video Card.
Here are 2 more dumps that actually completed. I hear ya about the power supply but what doesn't really make sense to me is that I'll start playing a game and 5 minutes into the game it will freeze. I can reboot and play for 2 hours or more without a freeze up. Thanks again for your input.
Now it seems to freeze up every other time I log into a video or game. It sometimes goes to the blue screen but will not ever complete the memory dump so there is no mini dump file or other times the screen will go multi color static like and just freeze. What could be causing that?
I downloaded and installed the laster driver for the video card. I downloaded Atheros Lan driver and have just the files but dont see a way to install them. Any help with this? Also I searched the comptuer for anything about SpySweeper and couldn't find anything. I uninstalled SpySweeper over...
Another crash today. I uninstalled VIA Audio and I don't have anything on my computer about Logitech Wingman. I have two Logitech items on my computer, G15 keyboard and a G5 laser mouse.
I'm guessing the Logitech Wingman is my mouse and everytime I try to update it, it says already up to date. As for the VIA Audio, how exactly do you find which model I have or does it matter. Also thanks I updated my DX. I'll let you know if I have more crashes.
Windows 7 64bit AMD Phenom II X4 925 Processor 2.8 GHz 4 GB Ram Microsoft Security Essentials I've had 2 BSOD in the past 2 days. Any help with this would be great, thanks.
Alright so I shut down my computer last night after I replied. I start it up this afternoon and get a BSOD before windows even loads up, twice. I used the startup repair after the second time then everything is working now. There are no new mini dump files either.
Alright I did what you said. I went and downloaded the Logitech addon to detect what I had and updated the items. I uninstalled WebRoot and installed MSE. Thanks for you help, I'll keep you updated on how it goes from here.
I've downloaded RegCure and Driver Detective to make sure everything was alright but it still crashes all the time while watching videos or playing games. I've attached the last 2 minidump files. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Amd phenom II X4 925 Processor 2.8 GHz 4GB Ram...
