Here is a glitch that i just experienced today. The desktop shows as just a black screen, after going to Show desktop, the desktop appears again. Then if you click on properties of any icon on the desktop the desktop goes back again and you have to show desktop again to make it appear again...

If you want to disable the preview feature you can simply do the following. Right click on the start button - Properties - Taskbar - Taskbar buttons - Select never combine. This will open all your windows in separate tabs instead of combining them. Shorter, faster, works no restart needed.
