    Hi - it is the main Desktop settings which are changed - all shortcuts etc. I guess the answer to your question is that they are both changed and reset! Thanks.

    I seem to have lost the facility in my taskbar for explorer items to be grouped behind the icons when there is more than one program running - (See screenshot "Taskbar").     Windows 7 XP & Win 7 Networking

    when I try to access Win7 from XP, I am always asked for a username and password. I put in the win7 details & nothing happens. Can I avoid having to sign in each time I try to access the networked Win7 PC? Thanks
