Try using cFosSpeed. It seems to help with both bandwidth and ping times; ping for gaming and bandwidth for surfing.

Make me #3 on this issue...it's almost exact.

Crackling ususally comes from not pushing the card in all the way. I don't have any issues with it at all.

I use SoundBlaster and never have an issue after installing their software for the card. Try that and you won't have an issue as it is compatable.

FSB = Front Side Bus For controlling and increasing FSB...it helps push fps (frames per second) in gaming etc...at least that's what I use it for and in XP there were many apps that worked, but I can't find any thus far that works with W7.

I don't recall it being Enterprise, it said Ultimate. I bought it online somewhere (can't remember which site as I was looking @ several). It installed fine, there is no watermark but it says Trial when I look at the Everest Info. I don't see a "stop date" however.
