Thanks, but it's one of the first windows 7 builds so uninstall is not an option and I use Firefox but need Internet Explorer for a dispatch program at work as firefox does not work for it. Looks like a fresh Windows 7 install is in order I guess.

Fire it up and wait 15 seconds and it crashes. I have no addons, I have tried resetting ie8 but to no avail. There is no update and no way to uninstall it. Any suggestions?
