    Windows 7 HP DV1000 Laptop - No Sound

    Can anyone help? I have installed Windows 7 on a HP DV1000 Pavilion laptop, no problems. However l have no sound. I have a Conexant High Definition Audio driver installed and its working. If l plug in headphones l get sound, however the speakers are not working. I know its not the speakers...

    Windows 7 Fresh Install of Windows 7 won't take

    Hi, did you ever get Windows 7 installed? If you did...what sound card driver did you install? I can get the sound card installed, but there is no sound! So frustrating, l get sound if l plug headphones in....but isnt ideal. The speakers are fine, had no issues on XP, might end up going back to XP

    Windows 7 Some problems I encountered on my HP DV1000 notebook

    Hi... wondering if you can help? I cant get sound working on the HP DV1000 laptop. I have a driver installed and it works, only through the headphone / speaker jacks at the front. Did you have any problems? What sound card driver did you use? Any help would be great. Thanks
