Windows 11 A very trivial "problem"...

Windows 11 A very trivial "problem"...

That makes total sense. I guess I really didn't think about that. The tooltips do get in my way occasionally, but like you say, it's just cosmetics. No real problem, I guess. Thanks for that. 👍 (Oh, to answer your question, I gave feedback through MS Feedback (Winkey+F).

Thanks, but I use Bitwarden for keeping my passwords, mainly because I don't always use Edge, sometimes Firefox. Is there a connection between your reply and my original question? If so, I'm missing it. 🤔

Windows 11 Systray tooltips still a problem...

I'm sorry, but that didn't fix the minor issue, either. Thanks anyway. I think we're on the right track, though.

Windows 11 Systray tooltips still a problem...

It seems to have fixed the issue I'm having, but only temporarily. It seems to start doing the same thing after a couple of minutes. Do I have to run these commands every time I reboot Windows 11? Also, at the risk of sounding like a noob, do I enter these lines exactly how you've typed them? Or...

Windows 11 Systray tooltips still a problem...

I'm running Win11 Home stable (22000.254), and the systray icon tooltips are still popping up to the left of the icons (like time and date, battery status, wifi, etc) when hovering over the taskbar. These tooltips can show up anywhere upon hovering over the taskbar items, like Search, Task View...

Windows 11 A very trivial "problem"...

Howdy. I'm running Windows 11 Home, 22000.160 (beta), and I've noticed that the tooltips for the systray icons show up to the left of those icons in the "blank area" of the taskbar. But it only happens after I hover over the icons and make those tooltips show, then move the cursor to the left...

    Windows 11 Windows 11 Discussion

Howdy all. I reinstalled Win10 last night because Win11 was freezing up, even after a reboot. I'm just about ready to go back to Win11 because it's pretty cool. I'm also keeping in mind that Win11 Insider Preview is the dev channel, so maybe that's why it froze up on me twice. However, after...

Windows 10 Old HD won't show in Win10...

Thanks for the reply and info. Disk Management doesn't show that the old drive has a drive letter. I do have two drives in my laptop, but I can't find any letter with the old drive. I think the adapter is working, but not for sure. Is there any way I can confirm that the adapter is working...

Windows 10 Old HD won't show in Win10...

Hello. I have an old hard drive that's not showing up in Win10. I've connected it to my laptop using a SATA to USB adapter, and it shows up in Disk Management, but not in Windows File Explorer. This HD has Windows Vista on it, but I'm just wanting to access the data/files. It was new in 2008...
