Yes, downloaded all the latest drivers for every piece of software/hardware I had. Didn't help at all. It's restricted to Windows 7, the strangest part is that it installs Windows 7 fine, fine in VISTA, it just does not work while in Windows 7.

The drive is a BLU-RAY one, I bought mine this year as well.

It was the official RC, however, I gave up in the end and uninstalled it. That said, yes the drive did install Windows 7, it even works perfectly in VISTA, just never worked in Windows 7.
