Windows 7 prevent renamed photos from jumping down the folder immediatly

Yes, thanks, I found that, but it doesn't have an option called "leave the photo in the same place until folder is closed and then reopened" When the photo is renamed, as soon as you go to do ANYTHING else, the photo jumps away to fit its name into the correct naming order. In my case I do...

Windows 7 prevent renamed photos from jumping down the folder immediatly

In old windows, when you renamed a photo, it stayed in the same place in relation to all the other photos in the folder until you closed and then reopened the folder. Now in 7 and vista, as soon as you rename it, it gets reordered in the folder by name. It jumps away from its current position...

Windows 7 critical update freezes startup at desktop screen

The solution was simple, really. I had both the vga and hdmi cables plugged into the monitor and back of the computer. It really wanted either one, but not both. With just one plugged in, there was no conflict. I had no idea that one or the other was the way to do it.

Windows 7 critical update freezes startup at desktop screen

not critical update when I "shut down" the start by hitting the "on" power button, puter hangs at splash screen . BUT, if I start in Safe Mode, and then from safe mode "restart" everything is there and wonderful. A long route to start, but it works.

Windows 7 critical update freezes startup at desktop screen

further adventures of How long is the wait. it seems that a critical update is the culprit. Even with or with out Norton online backup, and with or without QB installed, after the critical updates install, the computer freezes on startup. It goes all the way to the last do-do-do sound, and the...

its a windows aurtomatic update Well, after all the badmouthing of Norton, I am pretty sure its a windows automatic update. I have been fracking around with this for 2 days now, and after restoring and taking out norton and qb, it did some updates that would be added after the next restart...

norton online backup may be the problaem OK, recovery done, windows and hp updates installed, security essentials installed and running, Quickbooks installed and- I did something stupid, I also removed norton online backup -I hate the "try this" that just won't go away. And then I restarted-...

Windows 7 How long is the "wait"?

last known good config- ha ha. So the restore process eventually got into a loop where it couldn't even use the earliest restore point and wouldn't even start in safe mode. BTW, this was after the restore to earliest point before. So this time I went with Recovery, which went to factory...

solved?? with a price WEll, to make a long story short, I restored to waaaayyyy back before the geek squad at best buy optimized my HP by removing the crap and doing some critical updates. That is, the original factory settings. Funny thing is, I still have the files and photos and data I...

Windows 7 How long is the "wait"?

So this is interesting. I start in safe mode, tried the first restore point which eliminated Quickbooks, that didn't do anything , then I went in in safe mode and took off thunderbird, which the restore point had no knowledge of. When I start in safe mode it gives me al my users that migrated...
