I have been using computers most of my life, but it appears that I have gotten lost somewhere as the standard shifted from programs to applications. I have learned my knowledge base on my own time and in my own way, meaning with little reading of instructional books or formal instruction. I am here to learn and wish I could bring myself back up to speed as far as what to think of these machines. I do not understand what is happening as the environment of windows appears to have changed after windows 7.
