Thanks for the reply. The problem is that it is not working for ANY application, including the ones I typed in Japanese in frequently. (Chrome, Notepad, MSN) It only works with the taskbar in focus.

I've been using IME to type in Japanese, but I'm having a weird problem with it. It will run on startup fine, (I've seen the ctfmon.exe thing, and I have it running) but the IME panel disappears any time I bring focus to any application other than the taskbar/start menu. It used to work fine...
