Yeah the back up card just isnt good enough to be a back up anymore :( Thanks for the tips and such that you posted.

I dropped the resolution down to 1024x768 in both windows control panel and in the game. Still getting the same issue. Well I'm adding that I threw in a friends 9800gt and boom ran everything fine and dandy no skipping or freezing at all. If this helps at all heh.

I don't receive any sort of error message at all. The game tries to run or start up but it continues to freeze then go freeze then go. Doesn't make any sense to me. It worked with all the games on vista and I have tried using that compatibility mode multiple times.
