I think its sad windows 7 lacks a built in mail system, though it will encourage people to move to web mail more, this will make moving to new systems after windows 7 less of a nightmare.

and when is it not? I just keep stiking it to them I purchase the os, and thats the only thing I will ever purchase from them... an oem copy at that. I will never pay for office as long as open office works as well as it does.

log me in for me has been really hit or miss for me, on the 6 windows 7 machines I have installed it on, two of them totally refuse to work, and to no avail can I get them working.... all 64 bit.

I found this about 3 days after I installed the beta, I foudn it when I was doring a totally unreleated search also, but thought it was the coolest thing in the world when I messed around with it.

I was having the same problem when I installed windows 7 beta going from windows 7 rc, I tried everything for hours, and eventually cleared my CMOS, problem solved. Seems like the 7 install is doing something funky to the CMOS, atleast for me. Remember if you have raid, to turn it back on.

Hello, So I now have windows 7 on three of my computers, And its my main os on my mew pc. Everything is super speedy, nice and fresh on my new pc, boots in ~30 sec, shuts down in like 5 seconds, runs everything I throw at it, Firefox is super speedy. Except Ie8, its just agonizingly...

the new one doesnt take over your screen, and I love the search (vista and win 7) Also removing the "my" from everything makes it seem so much cleaner. I know i am on "MY" computer, why tell me, lol.
