Strange but after so many years, Foxnews has something in their settings that has Edge to spin up the fans. Chrome, which I used to have, ran into the same problem.

Does any still get very high cpu usage on Foxnews? For whatever reason, the fans go nuts on that particular site to the point where the laptop is nearly turning circles on my desk. Any ideas yet?

Mine seems to have come with Windows 11 and its beautiful.

Why do I suspect your posting is not going to get a reply? This place does seem to be very active.

Have you noticed any plumes of green smoke ascending out through the exhaust ports on your laptop? I ask that because the next door neighbor who lives about 300 miles from here reported this although I'm not sure what he was doing to have the cpu get that hot.

Back in 2016, I gladly reported Foxnews for being guilty of sending the fans on my laptop into warp drive. I noticed just several days ago, it began to do this again. Tonight, I clicked on the link and presto - the fans began cranking up to the point where the whole laptop was beginning to move...

He's been advised to but he's just that spiteful, he refuses to! When the thing explodes into a ball of blue flame, he'll be thinking he should have!!!

That last I heard, his laptop was a hot item and has now taken on the shape of a quarter moon. Money is not any issue over there, for he could buy 100 of them if he wished. He's bound he's going to keep this one till it wears out. I'd be horrified to leave it on overnight for fear of it bursting...
