I'm not being secretive at all, I've answered all the info you required. Do you require more? What is there to be secretive about? The problem is that the conclusion this thread led to is "10gb is not enough to maintain Win7 on", which has nothing to do with my problem. And I never implied...

None anymore. I removed my infected XP.

That is correct... I want full access to my D: partition. I have limited authority for some reason. I did the standard thing properties > security > advanced > users and empowered myself, but there's some sort of bureaucratic error that disallows me to make full use of the partition.

If I understand you correctly, then I think that is the situation. I parted my XP / other files into a D drive, then installed Win7 on a C drive, which was new. Is there a way around it? It seems so random, not being able to add to that disc because the other one was first. I have free space...

I skipped Vista, so XP, Office 2007 and some driver disks is in there. Was that the point or does no one care? :P

There's no way to just get authority without having to back up all my files and stuff?
