I hate to rez this thread, but I just wanted to update that even after replacing the ram, I was still having BSOD's. I checked my PSU which was lower than I thought, at 430w, so I purchased a new Antec 650w PSU. This didn't fix the issue either, but it was still a needed upgrade, IMO. I'm...
At this point I replaced the RAM, but was still getting errors, so I updated the BIOS again, let memtest run overnight and no errors so far. I'm cautiously optimistic, but also a little peeved if the issue WASN'T my ram. Anymore crashes and I'm getting a new mobo.
It would appear that my BIOS does not have the capability to change the Command Rate. I can only do this with AMD Overdrive, which I have done. Are there any other ways to get that effect from my bios (there are a lot of memory settings in there o.o) . Either way, will use and abuse and report back.
I got a BSOD while trying to find out why my ram says Crucial on the outside, but CPU-Z says it's Micron Tech, and also why I can't find specific timings for the stick anywhere :( Any suggestions? That said, it made me realize that since I ran verifier under safe mode, it wasn't looking for a...
I was up to date on the logitech drivers, but I re-installed them anyway, to be safe. Running in safe-more with networking right now, since earlier, I had 2 BSOD's while idling. I looked at driver verifier a bit, but I've never used it, and I don't know what settings I should be using...
Crashed this afternoon while browsing embedded video in chrome. System Service Exception bsod. I wish I knew why they were such wildly different bsod's. Is my Hard drive bad? I've got two partitions on it. One for the system (for easy repair and re-installs) and the other for Program...
Still crashing. Here's two I just had in a short timeframe: The first was while using Magic: The Gathering Online (I had just opened a new pack o.o) DRIVER_IRQL_..etc. The Second was while I tried to upload the first dump to this site. MEMORY_MANAGEMENT.
Thanks for the help, TG. I installed that probe, but does that update the driver as well? It seems like it's just a system monitor. I ran chkdsk /r on my Windows Partition, and it came back clean. I'm going to try and re-construct some crashes. I'll get back to you.
Hey folks, I've read a LOT of your forum over the last week or so, trying to pin point exactly WHY I'm getting so many different types of BSODs. I've tried many of the solutions you have posted, but I can't really decipher my own crash dumps, and nothing else seems to work. I usually get...
