    Windows 10 BSOD's and CTD's new PC.

Hi again, it's been a while. After a few emails back and forth between overclockers and myself I think it's all sorted. Basically came down to upping the DRAM and CPU VCORE voltages until it became stable. They were very helpful and it only took a while due to weekends and Xmas. Whilst I may...

Yes, honestly I've used them for at least 12+ years also and always found them to be very good. I've had one prebuilt system before that was excellent, and bought many components from them. I've emailed them and linked this thread also incase it's of use. You've all been very helpful and I'll...

Yeah that's my opinion on it also, it's under warranty for a good time yet. I was only holding off until I could narrow what the problem was down.

That other memtest ran for just over 9 hours think it did 6-7 passes with no errors at all. Overclocked they started showing up after a couple hours. Sorry I haven't managed to do another 12+ hour test yet. Overall I've had no BSOD's and only one CTD on that early access game since removing...

I don't understand, I followed the directions using W7F exactly, you should have all my dump files as of Tuesday I think my first post here was. Are you saying that you don't have those last two or more dump files from my original attachment? I'm currently 7.5 hours into another memtest with no...

No, only the BIOS profile. I can have a look at that and let you know anything but can only compare default and that. I know the CPU was taken from 3.5ghz to 4.5ghz but it's the memory timings etc that's probably of more interest. It's been quite a few years since I overclocked myself. With...

Yeah I intended to leave it longer but had to stop it. I work nights and sleeping soon so I'll run it for a good 8 hours with luck then.

I had to stop the last memtest after about 4 hours, it hadn't found any errors by that time. I've only had one CTD so far on an early access game and no BSOD's since resetting the BIOS to default settings.

Ah sorry I was just meaning I was on my mobile and when I got back home I would reset the BIOS to default settings and see how it runs then. Since removing the gigabyte program relating to driver GPCIDrv64.sys I haven't had anymore BSOD's of that type. But after that using 'whocrashed' to see...

I got lazy:) and individually the parts actually would have cost more seperate wherever I bought them. Thanks, that would be great! I'm on my phone at the moment will be back at PC in just under an hour.

Yes the PC came pre overclocked. I'll save the profile and try it without. Though if it's sold as stable at that overclock then it should be working fine, either way I have an issue it seems then. In the interest of pinning down exactly the problem I'll reset the bios, run a couple games then...

I've got in from work and it's been 10 hours so far. Attaching a screen of Memtest currently in progress. I guess I will leave it on a couple more hours. I did think at work I should probably have tested one stick at a time! (I can run again if needed that way) I did notice that the sticks are...

I hope this is the case, yeah! I've just done a full clean reinstall of the display drivers using DDU, I'll boot up Fallout and give it a go since it's most reliable to break. Although I have had periods of a few hours with no problems or CTD's after messing around with drivers before...

The sfc check returned 'Windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations before and after the second scan in the same box. I'll put memtest86 on USB and run it tonight when I'm at work, I did previously download it but didn't use it yet. No new BSOD's since I posted OP here...

Thanks for the replies. Yes I had GPCIDrv64.sys problems, relating to using Gigabytes 'Xtreme gaming utility' which must use it as I don't and never had Easy Boost installed. I removed the utility completely as it was up to date and haven't had that BSOD since. I will get back to you with the...
