    Windows 7 Search app to search by date, size etc like XP ?

    I posted this matter in another section, but only Google search was mentioned. XP had a very useful search utility where you can specify date and size ranges etc. This CAN be done in 7, but is much less user friendly. Is there an app for this, besides Google Desktop Search ? Thanks, Errol

    Windows 7 Windows update hangs. Other downloads OK

    Win 7 update just hangs, although all other internet activity works fine. Is it possible to reinstall from my original DVD without deleting other software and data files ? I have done this in XP several times with no problems. But in Win 7 ? I've tried closing my firewall and my virus programs...

    Windows 7 Windows update does not start downloading, just hangs

    I got a message that there are updates available (Win 7 Pro). However the update does not start downloading. It seems it doesn't find the site, even though I can go to any other site with no problem. Tried IE8 and Firefox, same problem.

    Hi. I have tried to Install Microsoft Security Essentials but I get the error 0x80070643. I unistalled Avira first, then rebooted before trying. Please help !
