Nope. It didnt fix after 8hours of "repairing". Im gonna bring it down to a pc shop and see if they can do a re-format or something that doesnt need me to change hard disk.
ok. sort of good news. i just pulled the plug(held the power button down) and then started it up. now it's scanning/repairing with an actual counter, like in %. i'll update you if it's ok, hopefully. EDIT: to hell with it actually working. it restarted then went back to "repairing disk error...
that's the problem. my computer is still "Repairing disk errors" with the dell logo and black background. for the past 2-3 hours.... feeling like pulling the plug on it and hopes it starts up normally. though there's also the chance it's actually fixing the problem OTL
great. after a few days of not logging online, it lagged, then bsod. literally now it's going through a very long "Automatic Startup Repair", repairing disk errors. and the chkdsk you asked me to run? it said it was clear of errors.
