WLAN AutoConfig is currently running and Startup is set to Automatic.

ncpa.cpl indicates "Wireless Network Connection Not connected" with a red X. I'm thinking this could be a bad physical switch or a shorted path on the motherboard. The dim LED wireless indicator could be a symptom. Is there a way to check the physical switch?
