Ok, I went to use that and as it finished its scan my bitdefender antivirus program found a trojan in it. But on the bright side, after that thing finished running, bitdefender's antivirus picked up the winhov32 trojan and got rid of it.
Every time I boot up my computer I get a RunDLL error that says that it could not find the file Winhov32.ROM. I have absolutely no idea what this file is/was associated with and how to get rid of this error. I also searched google and microsoft and whatnot and I found nothing on it.
Would it be at all possible for me to transfer files from a Windows 7 computer to a Windows XP computer with the XP Computer being the destination? If it is possible can I do it with a Cat5 Cable or does it have to be done in a different way? How do you do it?
I originally upgraded from Vista to the release version of Windows 7. I've seen posts saying that it was much smarter to backup your stuff and do a clean install. Would it be wise to instead, back it all up now and just do a fresh install?
