So, for performance reasons I need to wipe and reinstall windows on my laptop. Do I need to buy a new registration code [$$ :(] or will windows recognize that the computer is the same and let me use the same key??

Does Chrome ever cause BSODs?? I started noticing that they were happening when I was using chrome. Sometimes my computer would crash at the moment I started the Browser. Since switching to Firefox...no more Blue Screen! Have I diagnosed it right??
