Hi Joe,To turn off Sys Restore in Vista(Start/Helpand Support/Type in "System Restore" and Enter) Item 4..Turn Sys Restore On/Off..and follow instructions.. Havent tried it in WIN7 yet but will have a go later.Wouldnt advise turning it off unless you have some other back up ..eg Ghost or...
