yup, I had tried that before, truth be told, it's quite expensive. Lucky me, I find some free Snagit alternatives, and they can also be used to take screenshots, make edits or even make screen recordings. Anyway, you can compare those alternatives and find the one you prefer.

yup, can't agree more, you can use the hotkey manager for Windows - AutoHotKey to customize your desired hotkeys, or you can use Hotkeyz, which is a bit a more traditional.

I prefer more Chrome, it's fast and i have been used the Chrome for years after I switching from IE.

I often use Free Online Screenshot as an alternative to Windows 7's Snipping Tool. Similar to Snipping Tool, it can also take screenshots of anything shown on computer and make quick edits. It's my favourite choice. BTW, it can also share screenshots via Facebook, Twitter, etc.
