I've restored the hard disk to a single partition and completely erased it.

My laptop Sony Vaio y series was not passing the Sony logo screen so I thought of reinstalling Windows but that was not happening from a bootable usb nor a disk. So I removed the hd and completely formatted it and also made it a bootable hd with windows 8 but my laptop does not go to bios...
