Well again, I'm using googles speed test. And it's either way too low or very high. It's unpredictable. It seems that at night it acts the worst.

I wasn't playing the game, I was just doing an internet test. And by the way, it isn't with my hard drive anymore.

So, I've done the google internet test. 0.25 download, then I did it again, and I got the same. Then I did it another time and got 45.6 mb download. Then down, and up, repeat.

One is wired, my main PC, and one is not my MacBook. My router is a Netgear Ac1750. We use 5G network from Comcast I think. I first thought this problem was because of my hard drive, but since I tested it on a MacBook also it's probably my network. (The hard drive probably isn't helping anyway).

Hello, i'm trying to play games but I get awful network lag, it's not my internet provider. I've tried two computers and both have the same. I've done disk checks, system checks, and reinstalled. Nothing fixes it, and it's really god damn annoying. Please help.

It's definitely not my other hardware, I run a 4.2 GHz i7 7700k processor with 8GB of ram. The game I am running requires 1 GB ram and a 1.7+ GHz or better. And it isn't framerate lag, it's network lag.

It passed all tests.

chkdsk/r did nothing, and Ccleaner and Malwarebytes did nothing. I actually did a total wipe of my hard drive and reinstall of windows a couple weeks ago and installed nothing from untrustworthy sites. Updating my network drives did nothing. My drive was acting like this before I reinstalled...

I have also found that playing games for say Steam and downloading from Steam are totally fine. But when it comes to playing things from browsers or things that start from browsers, such as Roblox. Absolute trash. Steam downloads get to 10 mb plus, more than my speedtest download. And streaming...
