yes thats probably the problem then what does bcdedit /set {current} locale en-US that do? edit. i can watch high res films but not see a boot screen that is fucked man;)

Everything works fine when burning etc, But no matter what setting i set it too (ie. 4;3 or 16.9) the dvd comes out as a very narrow video with large black borders on either side .Ive burnt mutiple dvds and had the same problem each time. never had this problem with dvd maker for vista ,is...

yep i agree but its never gonna happen.. windows 7 is a huge improvement from vista ,but would not buy an os for 100+ Pound ,its not that better (*waits for crack*:razz:) to the above post Mine expires 02/03/2010

i downloaded it from a torrent and burnt it at the fastest speed.. im downloading it from window now ill burn it at *1 rather than *16 see if that sorts it out ill tell u how i get on,, will it install over vista and just put WINDOWS OLD folder like it usually does... i dont know...

i thought i try out windows 7 because ive heard alot of good things, but when i try and install it gets to the copyying the windows file but then i get an error message saying it cant install because there something missing. i get the error message 0*80070017.. im running genuine vista hoime...
