I downloaded the SFEP update from here,Original Drivers and Applications for VPCE Series (Windows 7 64-Bit) : Sony Asia Pacific, and i get the message that it is at it's latest version. So, what I did was, copy the .sys file to the ..system32/drivers folder manually. How come it's still 2007? i...

i thought it was solved; i was wrong. it was caused by dxgmms1.sys now

See, it crashed after Ive already copied the .sys file to the driver's folder. I did reboot, but BSODs persist. If you looked at the file properties of my dump file, it was only created yesterday 8:30pm, which was 20hrs ago.

Am i not on the right path? Or did copy the wrong file?

i did. i tested it, and i still get it :/ (bluescreen, literally) im starting to think this is caused by faulty hardware.. should i repost my dump again?

So do you mean that even if it says it is updated, it is not? It clearly says so that it is all ready to use. Plus it already states in the website how to update.

I did, i downloaded the latest driver before in Sony 's website, but apparently, it does not update since the latest version was 2009. (thats why the date modified was on 8/19/2009) same goes with the ethernet and wireless drivers.
