I tried the vista solution, but the bat file wasn´t able to find the needed files. So I did a system restore 2 clicks back, but this had no effect either. As long as this problem persist, I won´t receive new updates, right?

I have an unusual problem here. While at some point having downloaded appropriate updates, installed (supposedly) and restarted, now windows update say "restart you computer to finish installing important updates". However, nothing gets installed and when I have restartet, the same message...
