I find that very hard to believe this far down the development chain. None of these builds have been running on the Vista core anyway. All the MinWin enhancements have already been included which is one of the reasons for the greater speed and responsiveness of the OS.

From what I can gather from the Chinese forum is the hard drive needs to be on channel 0 of the SATA bus in the first position. I've checked my config and the CDRom is first on channel 0 (\Device\Ide\PciIde0Channel0) and the HD is second (\Device\Ide\PciIde1Channel0). Problem is you can't...

Wow at last found some other people with the same issue. I also have a 3 year old macbook with this exact problem and have been pulling my hair out trying to work out what's causing it. I can actually hear the hard drive spinning up and down 3 or 4 times before it actually starts doing...
