Hi davehc, Thanks for your reply, my query was really about whether Windows 7 will support Blueray in its backup software, at the moment I don't have a blueray disk writer installed and wanted to confirm it would be worthwhile.
I'm thinking of doing a system image of Windows 7 to blueray disk, could anyone advise on whether the Windows 7 backup facility would support this? The Image would be around 49 GB, thanks for any advice offered, Jack.
As this is a is a new installation of Windows 7 Home how about Windows.Old folder taking up the extra space? it's a while since I installed Windows 7 but I seem to remember that it created this file which was quite large and I later deleted it.
I had exactly this problem yesterday and by changing the monitor to a VGA connection from a DVI sorted it out. I'm using on board graphics (Asus M4A89GTD PRO) and found the solution in the MB Manual, give it a try it might fix it for you too!! Good luck.
